Both experiences were enjoyable, but the safari was much stronger for me personally.
The dunes, sandboarding, camel ride and camp gave us plenty to do throughout the afternoon and evening.
The dhow cruise was more relaxed, although the upper deck became quite busy when everyone wanted the night views.
Dinner was included on both tours and the overall package was still very good value.
Four stars from me mainly because I preferred the safari much more than the cruise.

The pickup arrangements were handled well for both days.
For the safari we received our afternoon timing, and the dhow pickup was arranged separately for the evening cruise.
Traffic can affect the exact pickup time, so we made sure we were ready beforehand rather than calling immediately if the vehicle was a few minutes late.
Once collected, everything was straightforward.
I appreciated not having to organize separate transportation to the desert and Dubai Creek.

I was nervous about the dune bashing because I had never done anything similar before.
Our driver explained things before we started and I became much more comfortable after the first few dunes.
By the end I was laughing along with everyone else in the vehicle.
The camel ride afterwards felt very calm in comparison!
The next day's dhow cruise was a nice relaxing contrast.

I thought AED 249 was good value considering this covered two separate evenings.
The safari included transportation, desert activities, dinner and entertainment, while the dhow cruise also included pickup, cruising and dinner.
We didn't add the quad bike because it costs extra and the standard safari already had enough for us.
Everything we actually needed was included in the basic package.
For a couple visiting Dubai for the first time, it made sense financially.

Dubai Creek was much more interesting than I expected.
Most of the Dubai pictures I had seen before travelling were skyscrapers and very modern buildings.
From the dhow we saw a more traditional side of the city, especially from the upper deck.
The cruise lasted long enough to have dinner and still spend time outside enjoying the scenery.
I'm glad this combo used the Creek cruise rather than another sightseeing bus.

The two dinners were completely different, which I wasn't expecting.
The desert safari had a BBQ buffet at the camp, while the second evening was an international buffet on the dhow.
Water and other non-alcoholic drinks were included as described.
For us, having dinner included on both evenings also made the package easier to plan.
We didn't have to find restaurants after either tour.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the desert camp after the driving and activities.
I had a small henna design done and we took some funny pictures wearing the traditional costumes.
The BBQ buffet had vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices, so our group had no problem finding food.
We stayed for the evening performances before heading back to the hotel.
There was enough happening to keep us entertained for the whole evening.

Sunset in the desert was beautiful on the day we went.
We had time to take pictures around the dunes before continuing to the camp.
I liked that the website doesn't promise the sunset photo stop because obviously the weather and timing can change.
We were lucky with the conditions and got some excellent photos.
It was probably my favorite moment from our Dubai trip.

We travelled with our two children and both tours worked well for the family.
They were excited about the camel ride and sandboarding during the safari.
The next evening was much calmer with the dhow cruise and buffet dinner.
Having hotel pickup included for both experiences made everything easier for us.
Each child ended up choosing a different tour as their favorite.

The Dubai Creek cruise was my favorite of the two tours.
We had dinner while the dhow moved slowly through the older part of Dubai.
After eating, we went to the open-air upper deck and stayed there enjoying the night views.
It was calm and gave us time to just sit together after several busy sightseeing days.
A very pleasant evening.

The desert safari was the highlight for me.
Our driver was friendly and handled the 4WD very confidently once we reached the dunes.
After the dune drive, we tried sandboarding and the short camel ride before going to the camp.
Dinner and the evening entertainment came later, so the pace changed nicely after the more active part.
I enjoyed the whole afternoon from pickup to drop-off.

I liked that these two experiences were on separate days.
The desert safari was active and exciting, while the dhow cruise was much more relaxed.
We did the safari first and saved the Creek dinner cruise for the following evening.
It gave us two completely different sides of Dubai without trying to fit everything into one day.
The combination worked really well for our short holiday.

Two Memorable Evenings From One Booking
We booked this combo because we didn't want to arrange the desert safari and dhow cruise separately.
Our first experience was the desert safari and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Dubai holiday.
The 4×4 dune drive was exciting and our children couldn't stop talking about it afterwards.
We got out in the desert for photos and everyone had a turn at sandboarding.
At the camp, the children enjoyed the camel ride while my wife tried henna.
We had the BBQ dinner and stayed for the evening performances before returning to Dubai.
The next day was completely different because we had the dhow cruise on Dubai Creek.
We had our buffet dinner on board and then moved to the upper deck.
It was nice just sitting outside and watching the illuminated waterfront pass by.
The desert safari gave us the adventure, while the dhow cruise gave us a peaceful evening.
For us, booking both experiences together was a very good choice.

We wanted to experience the desert but also do something traditional inside the city.
This package covered both very well.
The safari gave us the exciting part with dune bashing and sandboarding.
I also enjoyed having henna done at the Bedouin-style camp.
The following day we went on the Dubai Creek dhow cruise.
We had dinner downstairs first and then moved to the open deck.
Seeing the older parts of Dubai from the water was really interesting.
The two tours complemented each other much better than I expected.

The two experiences could not have been more different.
During the safari, our group was laughing throughout the dune bashing.
We tried sandboarding and stopped for pictures in the desert.
Later we enjoyed the camel ride, BBQ and entertainment at the camp.
The dhow cruise gave us a chance to slow down the following evening.
We ate dinner while the boat moved gently along Dubai Creek.
I particularly enjoyed standing on the upper deck after eating.
The lights reflecting on the water created a very peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel Transfers Made It Easy
Having pickup arranged made both experiences much easier for us.
For the safari, we were collected and driven out towards the desert.
After dune bashing, the camp activities and dinner, we were happy not to worry about finding transportation back.
The dhow cruise pickup was also convenient.
We were taken to the Creek and could simply enjoy our evening.
After the cruise, we returned feeling relaxed.
It saved us from arranging separate taxis for both tours.

Both tours were enjoyable and well worth doing.
The desert safari was the stronger experience for me because I loved the dune drive and sandboarding.
My wife preferred the dhow cruise because it was quieter and more relaxing.
Dinner was included on both tours, which made the package convenient.
The only thing to consider is that both experiences take place later in the day.
We had other sightseeing planned during the mornings, so our two days became quite busy.
I would leave some free time between activities if possible.
Overall, a very good package and four stars from us.

I came back with so many good pictures from this package.
The desert sunset gave us some of our favourite holiday photos.
I also enjoyed the Arabic costume pictures at the camp.
On the second tour, Dubai Creek looked lovely after dark.
We went to the upper deck after dinner and took more photos from there.
The scenery was completely different on each tour.
I am glad we booked both.

I liked having the two activities on separate days.
The desert safari was full of action from the moment we reached the dunes.
Dune bashing was fantastic and we got some great desert photos.
The dhow cruise was the complete opposite.
We could sit down, have dinner and enjoy the evening views.
It gave us a good balance during our Dubai holiday.
