1.Grab A Bite To Eat

There are plenty of restaurants and cafes, both pre- and post-security, and several are open 24-hours. Food options range from to-go options like McDonald’s, Burger King, and cafes to sit-down spots like O’Learys SportsBar, Yumcha Asian Food, and Montreux Jazz Cafe. 2.Unwind In A Lounge

Lounges sound nice – enjoy good food, watch TV, catch up on the news, all in a quieter, less rushed environment. 3.Qasr AL-HOSN

Al-Hosn Fort, also known as the Old Fort or the White Fort, is the oldest building in Abu Dhabi and one of its major historical points of interest. The palace was built in 1793 as the residence of the ruling family and the seat of government. The interior of the Al Hosn Fort has been renovated and modernized and is now used as a museum that traces the history and culture of Abu Dhabi, with oral histories and plenty of historical photographs on show. The courtyard and the magnificent tile work over the main northern gate are notable features.

4.Go Sightseeing

If you have half a day, visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a must to visit place on your layover, the city’s most iconic landmark. The project of this grand and the most visited attraction of the capital was launched and presented by the late president of United Arab Emirates. As it is the country’s most appointed mosque, more than 41,000 people have seen visiting it on Eid and on different religious festivals.

Located between the airport and the city centre, Yas Island is the perfect example of world-class entertainment in the Middle East. At Yas Links, Golf a Par 3 course among local bird and marine wildlife. Tour the Yas Marina Circuit, one of the most technologically advanced Formula 1 circuits.
